Conventional exhibition halls feature spaces that serve as both organizers and atmospheric backdrops for information. In terms of design logic, these two elements are distinct: information functions as spatial decoration, while space itself becomes the three-dimensional background for information. The experience of the exhibition hall primarily involves the interpretation of spatial sensations.
该展厅尝试用信息自生长的逻辑打破这种禁锢。将建筑原本的空间消解,让信息根据自身基因进行实体化演变。结构、力学、材料、造型、媒体设备都是这个信息生长的外延,它们的生长一方面让传播衍生出更多的维度,另一方面也完成对展示空间的规划、构筑、营造。展厅最终是一个可以被穿梭、被感受、被阅读的艺术装置。观展如同在雕塑的体内体外之间中巡游、沉浸,充满探索的乐趣。
The exhibition hall endeavors to disrupt conventional norms by employing a logic of self-generated information. It dissolves the inherent spatial constraints of the original architecture, enabling information to undergo a tangible evolution based on its own genetic code. The growth of structure, mechanics, materials, form, and media devices serves as an extension of this informational development. On the one hand, their growth facilitates the derivation of additional dimensions in communication, while on the other hand, it completes the planning, construction, and creation of the exhibition space. The exhibition hall ultimately becomes an artistic installation that can be traversed, experienced, and interpreted. Exploring the exhibition is akin to wandering between the internal and external aspects of a sculpture, offering immersive and joyous experiences of exploration.

土——大自然的低能耗建筑材料,在古人的智慧下筑造了当时人与自然平衡。如今,它是诱发整个装置运作的微量元素,在科技装置的加持下,自然之土转变为科技之土,成为混凝土城市的进行迭代的种子。
Soil – a low-energy building material from nature, constructed under the wisdom of ancient people to achieve a balance with nature at that time. Today, it serves as a trace element that triggers the operation of the entire installation. With the support of technological devices, natural soil transforms into technological soil, becoming the seed for the iterative development of concrete cities.

The internal structure of objects, the materialization of scientific logic, concealed beneath emotional embellishments. Energy-efficient technology materializes within the internal construction of architecture, authentic yet intricate. Within the constraints of mathematics, seeking limited freedom, adapting to circumstances, constructing the beauty of genuine structures, and crafting poetic internal constructions.
每个螺丝,每片金属,都支撑着装置与展品的真实重量。力学的逻辑下,材料呈现出原生的科技美感,与自然元素共同组成微量自然。
Each screw, every piece of metal, functions as a support for the genuine weight of the apparatus and the exhibit. Within the logic of mechanics, the materials manifest an inherent aesthetic of technology, converging with natural elements to collectively form the concept of ‘trace nature.

On the installation, various presentation formats such as models, physical objects, videos, text, graphics, interactive devices, and more are employed to provide a multidimensional interpretation of the principles behind ultra-low energy buildings. This approach transforms the entire information installation into not only an artistic expression with emotional depth but also a rigorously articulated discourse on the scientific aspects. The fusion of art and science adds an element of enjoyment and aesthetic appeal to the presentation of knowledge, turning the visiting process into a self-directed exploration.

该项目位于西安市枫林九溪售楼处三层,目的是向观众展示超低能耗建筑技术。该技术为隐藏于建筑装饰面以下的非可视技术,晦涩、复杂、无观赏性。展厅通过信息生长、装置构建空间的设计理念,对硬核的知识进行解构、转译,打造出一个与众不同的沉浸感展示空间。
The project is located on the third floor of the Maple Nine Creeks sales office in Xi’an, with the aim of showcasing ultra-low energy building technologies to visitors. The technology involved is non-visible, concealed beneath the decorative surfaces of the building—obscure, intricate, and lacking aesthetic appeal. The exhibition hall, guided by the design philosophy of information growth and spatial construction through installations, deconstructs and translates the complex and less visually engaging aspects of hardcore knowledge. This results in the creation of a distinctive immersive exhibition space.
